Family Photography Session at Meads Quarry with Knoxville Family Photographer, Sweetest Moments Photography
Y'all, (wait, is it grammatically correct to start a sentence with y'all? owell) I am so lucky to be living my dream of staying home with my kids while also running a full time family photography business here in Knoxville, TN and it's all thanks to YOU!
When a family books a session with me, I get a little festive email that comes to my phone and to be honest I do a little happy dance and it literally makes my day; just fyi. So when this momma reached out to me a few months ago saying she and her family were going to be making a road trip all the way down from Michigan for a little change of scenery in October and wanted some pictures to remember their vacation by, I was super pumped.
I sent her my locations and her and her family decided that Meads Quarry would be a fun place to explore, so that's where we met! To be honest I get a wave nervous excitement when I'm meeting new families. My expectations of myself are so high and I'm so excited for the opportunity to work with new families that it makes me feel like I'm back in the ER at UT Medical Center to help save a life. Anyways, when we first met and introduced ourselves before we got started, I was immediately drawn to their personalities and overall love and connectedness as a family.
As we continued to converse throughout our session, this sweet mom told me one of the reasons she hired me was because we were basically the same person; and she is so right! She is a mom of three, registered nurse that is currently not practicing, and we have kids relatively the same age! That right there made my soul happy!
During this session there were so many laughs, snuggles, and memories being made and I was fortunate enough to help capture some fun last memories on their last night in Knoxville. I hope these photographs of their family from this special trip to East Tennessee brings them joy and that they can cherish these forever!
