I will always adore this family and every opportunity to work with them. Heather and I used to work together back in my nursing days at UT Medical Center and I will be forever grateful that I got to meet such a kind and beautiful person inside and out. Her family is adorable, her husband is smitten over her, and the boys just melt my heart. It's always so fun to capture the sweet and energetic moments that these boys bring! Also, how about those outfits? PERFECTION.
On a more sappy note, I honestly would have to say working at UT allowed me to work alongside some of the most amazing medical staff there is and brought opportunity which built friendships with some pretty incredible people; which to this day I get to photograph as well! I think my past co-workers and friends would have to agree, once you share the things you experience as a team in an emergency department, it bonds you for life. I do miss my job as a registered nurse, but having the opportunity to stay home with my kids and start this family photography business of mine is a blessing. Being able to provide a photography experience for my families and capturing their season of life makes me feel like I'm still tending to the needs of families, just in a different and more creative way.
