It seems like each time the Herzfeldt's and I see each other, it's barely above freezing outside! I remember that cold November afternoon sitting on the couch and watching the snowfall thinking to myself, this photo session is going to be awesome! I've always wanted to do a session in the snow and they couldn't have been a more perfect couple to do it with! We may have felt like were were getting frostbite but the images we captured were worth every minute of it!

Mead's Quarry is actually a part of Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville, TN in the Island Home area; I like to consider it as a photographers hidden gem. The best time of day to go here is in the evening about 1-2 hours before sunset; the sun goes down beautifully right through the trees during golden hour.
Mead's Quarry is a perfect fall location to consider when planning your next lifestyle family photography session with Sweetest Moments Photography. It has everything from a small field, a pretty vined/stone wall, gravel paths and a paved trail, access to the water, and abandoned railroad tracks! There is a lot of beautiful scenery and photography backdrops within a small radius!
