Westfall Lifestyle Photography Session with Sweetest Moments Photography
Meet the Westfall family!! We decided to meet at Seven Islands State Birding Park for their fall family photography session and to document little Lilane's first birthday at Seven Islands State Birding Park in Kodak, TN.
The Tennessee weather has been a doozy lately being gloomy and chilly then warm and sunny but I will have to say that this is the first true Fall that I've experienced in Tennessee where it actually is cooler than 80 degrees in the beginning of October! I consider that a win!
Let's just get one thing straight, we all know that I have a thing for detail shots but Lilane and all her cuteness made it so easy! Her big blue eyes, chunky thighs, and sweet personality made it so much fun to capture her at her one year milestone.
Fun fact/tip: so I've done quite a few first birthday family photography sessions but this family came prepared with something I've never seen before! They brought a big round helium balloon for Lilane to get her picture taken with but instead of attaching the balloon to a balloon weight she wrapped the balloon ribbon with an artificial vine of ivy and flowers which naturally weighted the balloon down and added some great color and contrast to the balloon! I was amazed because it is such a brilliant idea! So moms, if in the future you need to bring a balloon to the session, I encourage you to think about using the Westfall's design!
